Rezavý kocourek Bonifác se k nám dostal z veterinární ordinace, kam ho přinesli nálezci v hrozném stavu. Silný průjem, dehydratace, kocour se nedokázal udržet na nohu, nejedl. Všechny testy na infekční nemoci byly negativní, takže dostal infuze, antibiotika a krmili jsme ho ze stříkačky. Naštěstí během dvou dnů začal kocour sám jíst. I když měl speciální gastrointestinální dietu, dalším problémům jsme se nevyhnuli. Střevo nebylo připravené na větší množství krmiva a kocourek se přestal vyprazdňovat a střevo se ucpalo. Následoval kolotoč dalších infuzi, projímadel, krmení vlákninou a následně jiná speciální dieta. Vše se zvládlo, ale kocourka musíme denně hlídat a kontrolovat obsah záchodku. Vzhledem k jeho zažívacím potížím jsme v dalších veterinárních ošetřeních postupovali opatrně a s odstupem - aktuálně je kocourek odčervený a vykastrovaný, v nejbližší době bude i kompletně naočkovaný. Pro Bonifáce hledáme domov, kde bude středem pozornosti - ať už se to týká jeho zdravotního stavu, tak také z důvodu, že vedle sebe nesnese další kočky. Je hodně dominantní a pro rvačku nejde daleko.
