FOR ADOPTION IN DEPARTMENT 31 OR LIMITING AREAS - A person in great precariousness has just entrusted us with 4 2.5-month-old crossbred Beagles from an unwanted litter. A responsible decision to ensure their peaceful future. We will sterilize the mother to prevent this from happening again... 💔 ✔ BONNIE is still a bit timid, just like her 3 brothers. It will take time and patience as she has a lot to learn. But she is very agile and gains confidence quickly! ✔ She will preferably live in a house with a fenced garden (NB: a garden does not dispense walks 🙃) ✔ And she must be with an adult male dog already in the home and of the same size. ✔ She can also be accustomed to cats and children. She is a little pug already very playful. Come meet her and offer her a sweet home in which to grow surrounded by love! ➡ FOR ADOPTION IN DEPARTMENT 31 OR LIMITING AREAS but we are considering any serious proposal outside the department Bonnie ♀️ X Beagle born on 20.03.2026 (age to confirm) ℹ Adoption fees are 350€ + a voluntary and tax-deductible donation covering identification, first vaccination, deworming, and sterilization at 7 months old with our veterinarian. Compulsory puppy school education classes are required. You benefit from special rates with our partners. A security deposit check will be requested for the puppy school and one for the sterilization. About BONNIE

What life with BONNIE looks like

BONNIE is a small puppy/kitten dog waiting at Association Agir pour les Animaux in Rennes.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Fees are typically €150–€300. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting BONNIE, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about BONNIE?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Association Agir pour les Animaux handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw BONNIE on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt BONNIE if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Association Agir pour les Animaux will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is BONNIE already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if BONNIE isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Association Agir pour les Animaux early rather than rehoming privately; they know BONNIE and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
