Bora

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 5 months

Bora - gentle little girl dog is looking for her family Bora is only 5 months old and already has a very special character: she is incredibly calm, gentle and balanced. For such a young dog she shows herself amazingly calm and uncomplicated. Bora came to us at the shelter with her sister. Her sister is about to move to her new home - and now we sincerely hope that Bora will not have to wait long for her own family. ❤️ Bora gets along very well with other dogs. She is friendly, social and enjoys the company of her fellow dogs. At the same time she is not pushy and has a wonderfully pleasant, balanced nature. Bora also brings a lot of learning potential. We are convinced that with loving, patient and positive upbringing she will make rapid progress. She wants to discover the world and has the best prerequisites to develop into a great companion. Of course, Bora is still a puppy and must first learn life outside the shelter. Many things will be new to her: a home of her own, new people, walks, everyday noises and all the small adventures that belong to the life of a family dog. With patience, love and clear, positive guidance she will surely master these challenges step by step. 🌸 Bora has her whole life ahead of her. All she is missing now is a loving family that shows her the world, gives her security and goes through life with her. Who will give little Bora her forever home? 🏡❤️

About Bora

What life with Bora looks like

Bora is a puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Fellnasen Stuttgart e.V. in Stuttgart.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bora, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bora?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Fellnasen Stuttgart e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bora on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bora if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Fellnasen Stuttgart e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bora already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bora isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Fellnasen Stuttgart e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bora and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
