BORI was left at the municipal dog shelter when his owner passed away. We have now been asked for help in taking in this old dog and trying to find a good home for a dignified end of life. BORI is already 15 years old, does not see well, walks slowly, with difficulty. He goes on a leash, but can no longer climb stairs. He arrived with a patch of hair loss on his back, but we have already taken care of the issue so the fur should grow back. BORI has a heart murmur. He must take medication daily. Blood tests show that his liver and kidneys are healthy. He tested negative for leishmaniasis, tick fever, and heartworm disease, so not everything is bad. BORI is scared and nervous at the shelter. He tries to bite when we try to pick him up, but it's just fear. Poor thing. With the few teeth he has, he is a harmless dog, just very sad, confused, and scared. It's very pitiful. BORI is vaccinated, dewormed, neutered, and has a microchip.

O Bori foi deixado no canil municipal quando o dono faleceu. Foi-nos agora pedido ajuda para acolher este velhote e tentar encontrar um bom lar para um fim de vida digna. O Bori já tem 15 anos, já não vê bem, anda devagarinho, com dificuldades. Passeia de trela, mas já não consegue subir escadas. Chegou com uma pelada no dorso, mas já tratámos do assunto pelo que o pêlo deverá crescer de novo. O Bori tem um sopro no coração. Deve tomar medicação diariamente.
