Bossa ID No.: 1058934 Breed: Mixed Breed Age: approx. 01/2020 Gender: Female Shoulder Height: approx. 52 cm Spayed/Neutered: Yes Location: Marbella (Spain) Application Form The beautiful Bossa is looking for a loving home. The lovely Bossa (*born 01/2020, approx. 52 cm) arrived in May 2026 at our partner shelter TripleA together with two other dogs from the dog hotel Royfonte, which had to close its doors. At Royfonte, Bossa lived with a large Shar-Pei/Presa Canario mix who was always by her side as her protector and best friend. Ramon has since been adopted, and without him—or any other dogs—Bossa shows a certain degree of uncertainty. She doesn’t display fear or panic at all; rather, she’s just a bit unsure. By nature, Bossa is a calm, gentle, and rather shy dog who prefers to stay in the background at first. But this reserve quickly disappears as soon as treats come into play. Then, the shy Bossa transforms into a curious cuddlebug who snuggles closer and closer to her people and skillfully uses her long nose to search for those coveted treats hidden in jacket or trouser pockets 😊. Bossa walks incredibly calmly and serenely on the leash, and it’s truly delightful spending time with her. She’s neither nervous nor frantic—she’s simply calm and sometimes, in unfamiliar situations, initially a bit cautious. Bossa is exceptionally friendly, gentle, and endearing toward all people. She also always meets children openly and warmly. Bossa is especially happy when she encounters other dogs. Then she really blossoms, dashing joyfully across the meadow with them and fully enjoying their playtime together. For Bossa, we’d therefore like to find a loving home with people who will give her the time she needs to settle in peacefully and get to know the world at her own pace. An environment close to nature with a structured daily routine, where she isn’t constantly bombarded with new impressions, especially at the beginning, would be ideal. At the side of a friendly, confident first dog who can provide her with guidance and ease her transition into her new life, Bossa would feel very comfortable indeed. In principle, however, we could also imagine that Bossa would be happy as an only dog. Anyone who gives Bossa the time she needs will be rewarded with an extraordinarily lovable, loyal, and gentle companion—a dog who doesn’t loudly demand attention but gradually opens up more and more each day—and precisely because of this, she’ll win a very special place in her people’s hearts. Bossa is vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, and has an EU pet passport. Before leaving, she’s been tested for Mediterranean diseases and dewormed and flea-treated. Bossa ID-Nr: 1058934 Rasse: Mischling Alter: ca. 01/2020 Geschlecht: weiblich Schulterhöhe: ca. 52 cm Kastriert/Sterilisiert: Ja Aufenthalt / Ort: Marbella (Spanien) Anfrageformular Die wunderschöne Bossa sucht ein liebevolles Zuhause Die wunderschöne Bossa (*geb. About Bossa

What life with Bossa looks like

Bossa is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Helfende Hände e.V. in Germany.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bossa, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bossa?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Helfende Hände e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bossa on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bossa if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Helfende Hände e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bossa already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bossa isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Helfende Hände e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bossa and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
