Bouclette is a very young female dog, under 8 months old, who narrowly escaped certain death. When we discovered her in the pound's truck, we knew we could not let her leave. Her destiny changed that day. Despite her young age, Bouclette still carries the emotional scars of her past. She is particularly fearful of other dogs, and we believe she was probably attacked before her rescue. Even today, their presence can unsettle her, and she will need time, patience, and positive experiences to regain her confidence. With humans, it's a completely different story. Bouclette is an extremely gentle, affectionate, and cuddly dog. She enjoys human company, seeks out petting, and forms wonderful bonds with people who offer her kindness. Ideally, we are looking for a family without a dog so that she can thrive in complete peace. However, she could also live with a calm, well-balanced, non-dominant dog that is able to respect her pace. Bouclette is compatible with cats, children, and farm animals. Beneath her apparent shyness lies a little dog who is incredibly endearing, sensitive, and full of love. She deserves a family that will accept her just as she is and help her discover that life can also mean safety and happiness. Good news: Bouclette will join a foster family in France during summer 2026 and will therefore be available for adoption within French territory. Bouclette est une toute jeune chienne de moins de 8 mois qui a échappé de peu à une mort certaine. Lorsque nous l’avons découverte dans le camion de la fourrière, nous savions que nous ne pouvions pas la laisser repartir. Son destin a basculé ce jour-là. Malgré sa jeunesse, Bouclette porte encore les traces émotionnelles de son passé. Elle est particulièrement craintive envers les autres chiens et nous pensons qu’elle a probablement été attaquée avant son sauvetage. Aujourd’hui encore, leur présence peut l’inquiéter et elle aura besoin de temps, de patience et d’expériences positives pour reprendre confiance. Avec les humains, c’est une toute autre histoire. Bouclette est une chienne extrêmement douce, affectueuse et câline. Elle aime la présence de l’homme, recherche les caresses et crée de très beaux liens avec les personnes qui lui offrent de la bienveillance. Dans l’idéal, nous lui recherchons une famille sans chien afin qu’elle puisse s’épanouir en toute sérénité. Toutefois, elle pourrait également vivre avec un chien calme, équilibré et non dominant, capable de respecter son rythme. Bouclette est compatible avec les chats, les enfants et les animaux de la ferme. Sous son apparente timidité se cache une petite chienne incroyablement attachante, sensible et pleine d’amour. Elle mérite une famille qui l’acceptera telle qu’elle est et qui l’aidera à découvrir que la vie peut aussi être synonyme de sécurité et de bonheur. Bonne nouvelle : Bouclette rejoindra une famille d’accueil en France durant l’été 2026 et sera donc disponible à l’adoption sur le territoire français.
