Bounty &#038

European Shorthair · Female

The two siblings are looking for a new home together. Bounty is the black/white kitten, and Nelly is the striped/white kitten. Both are very friendly, although at first they are very shy and reserved. Once they've settled in, however, they are typically young kittens, very playful and active ☺️ Children should be older, though, as both are a bit sensitive to their surroundings (noise, etc.). A place suitable for apartment living is fine for them, and a secure balcony would be desirable as they love to observe what's happening outside. Do you think you are the right person for Bounty & Nelly, or would you like to get to know them better? Then contact the animal shelter Wörgl:

About Bounty &#038

What life with Bounty &#038 looks like

Bounty &#038 is a adult european shorthair cat waiting at Tierschutzverein für Tirol in Innsbruck.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇦🇹Adopting from Austria

Austrian shelters follow the federal Tierschutzgesetz framework: adopters sign a Schutzvertrag (protection contract) committing to the animal's welfare. Spay/neuter, microchip, and vaccinations are included; fees typically range €150–€350.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bounty &#038, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bounty &#038?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierschutzverein für Tirol handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bounty &#038 on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bounty &#038 if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierschutzverein für Tirol will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bounty &#038 already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bounty &#038 isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierschutzverein für Tirol early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bounty &#038 and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
