Brammo

European Shorthair · Male · Kitten · 4 months

I'm Brammo! I recently arrived at the shelter after being seized from the pound. Bringing home a kitten is a wonderful adventure filled with joy, but it's also a thoughtful decision. By adopting me, you're committing to meeting all my needs for the next 15 to 20 years: veterinary care, quality food, and daily attention and companionship. Kitten, I'm still learning the rules of living in a house. My education is based entirely on patience, kindness, and positive reinforcement: - Discovering the world: Provide me with a safe environment, enriched with toys and scratching posts so I can express my natural instincts. - Cleanliness and socialization: Accompany me without ever using violence or yelling, which would only generate fear. - Framework and limits: Consistency in the household is key to calmly teaching me what is allowed and what is not.

About Brammo

What life with Brammo looks like

Brammo is a puppy/kitten european shorthair cat waiting at Association Quatre Pattes, Un Toit in Saint-Sauveur.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Fees are typically €150–€300. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting Brammo, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Brammo?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Association Quatre Pattes, Un Toit handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Brammo on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Brammo if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Association Quatre Pattes, Un Toit will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Brammo already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Brammo isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Association Quatre Pattes, Un Toit early rather than rehoming privately; they know Brammo and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
