We rescued this white polar bear from a euthanasia station after his owner abandoned him there. Brandon had a home for years until he was suddenly unwelcome without explanation. Here, we've come to know him as a sweet, friendly boy who is clearly used to living indoors. He gets along well with other dogs, but prefers females to males. He is always overjoyed when he can run around outside his kennel, but even more so when he can cuddle for hours! He can get along with other dogs, but selectively, on walks he doesn't always immediately befriend everyone. He needs a strong owner who can keep him in line and correct him. He goes on walks with volunteers and even to the market, but we're always careful because he can be strong and lash out at other dogs. A strong person can keep him, he is incredibly strong. Brandon is a typical Mastin, a good guard dog and extremely loyal to his family. With a good owner who treats him consistently and lovingly, he will be very happy!

Deze witte ijsbeer redden we uit het dodingstation, nadat zijn baasje hem daar had afgeleverd. Jarenlang had Brandon een thuis, tot hij daar zonder verdere uitleg niet meer welkom was. We leren hem hier kennen als een lieve, vriendelijke jongen, die duidelijk gewend is in huis te leven. Hij is goed met andere honden, maar heeft toch liever teefjes dan reuen om mee samen te leven. Hij is altijd overgelukkig als hij even uit zijn hok kan om te rennen, maar veel belangrijker nog, om uitgebreid te knuffelen! Hij kan met andere honden maar geselecteerd, op wandeling is hij niet altijd direct vriendjes met iedereen. Hij heeft een stevige baas nodig die hem kan houden en corrigeren. Hij gaat mee op wandeling met vrijwilligers en zelfs mee op de markt maar we zijn altijd voorzichtig omdat hij durft sterk zijn en uithalen naar andere honden. Een sterke persoon kan hem houden, hij is beresterk. Brandon is een typische Mastin, een goede waker en enorm trouw aan zijn familie. Bij een goed baasje, die hem een consequent en liefdevol behandelt, zal hij zich heel gelukkig voelen!
