Adopt Bratz

Mixed Breed Cat · Female · Young · 2 years

Description Our animal welfare workers report: Sometimes the asphalt is the first (and last) home that cats know, but luckily Bratz has already left the street behind. This little tri-colored cat was born in February 2024, and although she had to struggle and do her best to make the most of her life, there is not a spark of resentment in her. On the contrary: she is a nice cat, deeply affectionate and with a gentleness that draws you in from the first moment. Bratz is looking for a family that will show her what it is like to have her own bed and a sofa, and to be surrounded by cuddles and love. Bratz is a faithful companion who will fill your home with love. Don't let her wait too long for a good home. The cat presented here comes from an animal shelter/foster home that still houses many other animals. For these animals, we are searching for a home and a loving and safe life. The descriptions are so brief because there simply isn't time with the daily work of caring for all the animals. If interested, a more detailed description can be requested. Please send your questions directly via email to the provided address. We will try to respond as soon as possible. Home sought For Bratz, we are searching for a loving, understanding home. Our cats come—where health and age allow—neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and with an EU Pass for their new home. Additionally, they are tested for FELV/FIV. We look forward to your contact.

About Bratz

What life with Bratz looks like

Bratz is a young adult mixed breed cat cat waiting at Tierischgeholfen e.V. in Germany.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bratz, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bratz?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierischgeholfen e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bratz on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bratz if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierischgeholfen e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bratz already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bratz isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierischgeholfen e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bratz and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
