He has experienced the unpleasant situation of his owner passing away and being left alone in the shelter at the age of eight. Abandoned by his owner, two years later he is already ten years old, and despite the difficult circumstances in his life, he still retains a lively spirit and is truly a nice dog that one can communicate with. He greets us in his kennel with excitement and bounces around. He knows very well what it means to put on the leash and quickly lets us do it. Perhaps the memory and his desire for quiet walks prevail, because when leaving the kennel, he heads straight for the meadow, not listening to the signals from the person leading him, and when stopping, he pulls the leash forward expecting to continue moving. Other dogs definitely capture his attention, and when he sees another dog, he is not indifferent, trying to approach it. When approaching other dogs, he does not come calmly, but rather rushes, which causes tension in the other dog and sometimes provokes a reaction from its side. He does not easily separate from them, and in general, it is difficult for him to change direction when on a leash, regardless of whether there is another dog nearby or not. The task is further complicated by the fact that he refuses to accept food as a treat, which indicates increased levels of stress. In a closed space, he is calm and confident. He seeks attention from the person, accepts touching well, approaching with a desire for more. Even considers human touch as a reward, since in this environment he continues to refuse treats. He plays with toys and as a potential representative of a working breed, he maintains focus well on them. When the game suddenly stops, he quickly calms down the excitement and redirects his attention to something else. Brownie has developed a habit of barking at passing people or dogs while in his kennel. The same situation occurs when he is in a car. He does not lie down calmly while traveling, but prefers to watch what is happening outside and mark them in the same way as he does while in his kennel. Strengths: Communicative, kind. No problem with a noisy and active environment. Weaknesses: Lack of confidence in closed spaces.
