Bree

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 4 months

Bree is a shy, small, and very delicate puppy girl. She urgently needs a loving home or a similarly loving foster home where she can arrive in peace and learn how beautiful life with humans can be. We wish for Bree a family that is aware of this responsible task and gives her the time, patience, and security she needs. People who do not expect miracles overnight, but rather celebrate every small progress. Similar to Lotte, Bree also has the potential to develop step by step into a loyal and happy companion if she is met with understanding and love. A quiet home, preferably with a confident first dog, would be ideal for Bree. There she could learn from others and build trust at her own pace. Children should be a bit older and be able to take her sensitive nature into account. Bree is just at the beginning of her life. With the right people by her side, she will discover that the world is not as frightening as she currently believes. Who will give this enchanting puppy girl the chance at a loving new beginning? Bree is vaccinated and microchipped and will be placed with a contract after a positive preliminary check. Due to her age, she is not yet spayed. Departure possible immediately! General note on our protégés: Our dogs in Romania are regularly visited so that we can reassess their behavior and development. These personal impressions help us very much to convey a good picture of each individual dog. Nevertheless, we would like to point out that a dog in a new environment - with new people, new routines, and new impressions - can also behave differently. This is normal and is part of every change process. Many dogs open up faster at home and show sides that were not visible in the shelter. Our assessments are based on current observations, but are not a guarantee for every behavior in the new environment. They should provide guidance and show how the dog presents himself in the shelter - and what potential he has. We are convinced: With patience, understanding, and a loving environment, every dog can find his way and develop positively.

About Bree

What life with Bree looks like

Bree is a puppy mixed breed dog waiting at Vierbeiner in Not e.V. in Germany.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Dogs and cats typically leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with an EU pet passport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bree, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bree?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Vierbeiner in Not e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bree on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bree if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Vierbeiner in Not e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Bree already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bree isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Vierbeiner in Not e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bree and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
