adoption requirements adoption process Adopt now this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Bridgerton has found his luck! His story: All eyes on the little cuddle ball Bridgerton. The little funny fellow is really adorable. When you look at him, you immediately get a good mood. Bridgerton is a happy, totally sweet, and friendly dog. Bridgerton was found with his brother Freddie on a street, about 20 km from Bistrita. The family that rescued the two was on their way to Bistrita and brought him into our care. Bridgerton is likely to grow to medium size. He gets along well with other dogs as well as with cats. At this point in time, it's impossible to say what breeds are in him. One thing is certain: Bridgerton is a very successful mix with his black-brown fur. Bridgerton is looking for people who don't have any expectations of him and show him how a normal dog life works. He is still a baby and has a lot to learn. Sometimes, a mishap shouldn't be held against him and Bridgerton should always be guided with a positive reinforcement training style. He is looking forward to his new life with beautiful nature walks, many cuddle hours, and also a visit to the puppy school. Puppies should not be left alone as much as possible in the first year of life. Additionally, the more demanding pubertal phase is approaching. The hormone chaos turns the lives of the little rascals upside down. They "forget" often everything they have learned so far and their ears are on full blast. Therefore, it is especially important in this phase to train consistently but lovingly. And there is also a good news: This phase will pass! Bridgerton is ready when you are. He travels microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas. After a positive But also a foster home would already serve as a springboard into a happy dog life for the little fellow. Who gives Bridgerton a chance so he doesn't spend his childhood in the shelter? Thanks Silvie S.! You gave the little funny Bridgerton this wonderful name and thus an identity. A big thank you also goes to Angelique G., who took over a monthly sponsorship for Bridergton. As of 20.07.

Stand: 20.07.2024

About Bridgerton

What life with Bridgerton looks like

Bridgerton is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bridgerton, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bridgerton?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bridgerton on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bridgerton if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bridgerton already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bridgerton isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bridgerton and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
