Brikett

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy

Brikett is the most observant and calm of her litter. A bit more reserved at first, she is no less curious and quickly appreciates human presence. Once confident, she even gives small licks. Reflective and gentle, she often takes time to observe before diving in... but this doesn't stop her from being a real player! Play sessions are important for her, and she will appreciate a family available to share these moments of complicity. A home with another cat could also help her gain even more confidence. With her small white spots on her paws and delicate character, Brikett is an endearing cat who only wants to thrive in an environment where she has enough space and attention. Her mom Jiji gave birth to 4 kittens: Bouloche, Brikett, Bouchik, and Biclou Brikett is not present during our adoption days. If you want to meet her, it's possible to visit her directly at her foster home.

FR·Show original

About Brikett

What life with Brikett looks like

Brikett is a puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Arche de Noé Brest in France.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Fees are typically €150–€300. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting Brikett, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Brikett?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Arche de Noé Brest handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Brikett on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Brikett if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Arche de Noé Brest will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Brikett already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Brikett isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Arche de Noé Brest early rather than rehoming privately; they know Brikett and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
