BROUCK arrived at our shelter following an investigation. He is a very gentle, affectionate, and human-friendly dog. Social and appreciative of shared moments, he will find his place in a loving home. Very greedy, he will be receptive to positive training. BROUCK has already been adopted once, but certain frustrating situations have led to biting, particularly when he was prevented from eating at the table. He will therefore need a clear structure, stable rules, and a quiet space to feel safe. Potty training will require patience. He can live with other dogs and has already lived with cats. A follow-up with an educator is recommended because, despite his small size, accidents can happen quickly. Like many Bull dogs, he also requires serious veterinary follow-up.

Brouck est un chien très gentil, affectueux et proche de l’humain. Sociable, il apprécie les moments de partage et saura trouver sa place dans un foyer aimant. Très gourmand, il répond bien à une éducation positive. Déjà adopté par le passé, il a toutefois présenté des réactions de morsure dans certaines situations de frustration, notamment lorsqu’on lui interdisait de réclamer à table. Il semble également avoir tendance à protéger la personne qu’il considère comme « son » humain, un comportement actuellement travaillé au refuge. Brouck aura besoin d’un cadre clair, de règles cohérentes et d’un environnement calme. Nous restons attentifs à ses montées en excitation, qui peuvent parfois entraîner des incidents. La propreté sera également à consolider. Il peut vivre avec d’autres chiens et a déjà cohabité avec des chats. Un accompagnement par un éducateur est recommandé.
