Brownie and Maggie

Mixed Breed · Female · Kitten · 3 months

Both kittens are incredibly affectionate, playful, and full of personality. They love human company and have the sweetest, most loving temperaments. Maggie is the more adventurous of the two. She is inquisitive, determined, playful, and always wants to know what is going on. She isn't shy about letting you know when it's time to stop what you're doing and give her some attention! When she's not busy exploring or playing, she loves nothing more than curling up for a cuddle. Maggie can sometimes get a little overexcited during play and may be a bit rough, so a home without very young children may be the best fit. Brownie is slightly more timid than her sister but every bit as loving. One of her most endearing habits is waking up from a nap, spotting her favourite person, and immediately rubbing her head and body against them in delight—as if she's relieved you're still there. She enjoys playing too, although she's not much of a jumper. She is also wonderfully quiet; in fact, she can barely manage a proper meow! Together, Maggie and Brownie are a delightful pair who will bring endless affection, entertainment, and companionship to the lucky family that welcomes them home. About Brownie and Maggie

What life with Brownie and Maggie looks like

Brownie and Maggie is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Feline Friends London in United Kingdom.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Brownie and Maggie, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Brownie and Maggie?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Feline Friends London handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Brownie and Maggie on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Brownie and Maggie if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Feline Friends London will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Brownie and Maggie already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Brownie and Maggie isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Feline Friends London early rather than rehoming privately; they know Brownie and Maggie and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
