Valentina I. Brownie, born approximately 2019, spayed, approximately 55 cm shoulder height, in the shelter since 2019 Brownie was rescued as a puppy by Maria from one of the public animal shelters (Feteni or Babeni) and has been in her care ever since. It has never resulted in a home, which is really sad. Brownie can and want to impose no "standard home" on us after such a long time. He needs a home with experienced, patient and empathetic people who have an attached, securely fenced garden, so that he can decide for himself when and if he is ready for a normal dog life with Gassi, harness and car driving. His future family should also be willing to accept him as he is, if he does not get excited about a dog life as we know it. He lets himself be gently touched on the face, is curious and not afraid. When our volunteer Julia was in the shelter in March 2023, he lay in the sunshine with and next to her and all the other dogs on the floor. If you just let him run along, he is a pleasant companion. Who gives Brownie a chance after such a long time? Currently in Romania and allowed to travel out if a home is found. Travels chipped and vaccinated (EU vaccination passport; vaccinations: rabies and basic immunization). All dogs are treated against intestinal parasites and ectoparasites on arrival in the shelter and at least once a year thereafter. The described behavioral observations are based on everyday life in the shelter and may be different in a domestic environment under changed living conditions. Brownie, geboren ca. 2019, kastriert, ca. 55 cm Schulterhöhe, im Shelter seit 2019 Brownie wurde als Welpe von Maria aus einem der öffentlichen Tierheime (Feteni oder Babeni) gerettet und befindet sich seitdem in ihrer Obhut. Es hat sich für ihn nie ein Zuhause ergeben, was wirklich traurig ist. Brownie können und wollen wir nach so langer Zeit natürlich kein "Standardzuhause" zumuten. Er braucht ein Zuhause bei erfahrenen, geduldigen und empathischen Menschen die über einen angeschlossenen, sicher eingezäunten Garten verfügen, so dass er selbst entscheiden kann, wann und ob er für ein normales Hundeleben mit Gassi, Geschirr und Autofahren überhaupt bereit ist. Seine zukünftige Familie sollte auch bereit sein, ihn so anzunehmen wie er ist, wenn er sich nicht für ein Hundeleben wie wir es kennen begeistern lässt. Er lässt sich vorsichtig im Gesicht anfassen, ist neugierig und nicht ängstlich. Als unsere Volontärin Julia im März 2023 im Shelter war, lag er im Sonnenschein mit und neben ihr und allen anderen Hunden auf dem Boden. Wenn man ihn einfach mitlaufen lässt, ist er ein angenehmer Zeitgenosse. Wer gibt Brownie nach so langer Zeit eine Chance? Befindet sich aktuell in Rumänien und darf ausreisen, wenn er ein Zuhause gefunden hat. Reist gechipt und geimpft (EU Impfpass; Impfungen: Tollwut und Grundimmunisierung). Alle Hunde werden bei ihrer Ankunft im Shelter sowie anschließend mindestens einmal jährlich gegen Darmparasiten und Ektoparasiten behandelt. Die geschilderten Verhaltensbeobachtungen basieren auf dem Alltag im Shelter und können sich in einem häuslichen Umfeld unter veränderten Lebensbedingungen entsprechend anders darstellen.
