Bruce 3

Mixed Breed · Male · Young · 1 year

Bruce is a very affectionate boy, especially when he’s hungry! He loves having company and would really appreciate a home where his people enjoy giving him lots of attention. We think he’d particularly love having someone around for part of the week, such as someone who works from home a few days a week, so he can have plenty of interaction and companionship. He is also a wonderfully playful cat. Boxes and bags are firm favourites, and he’ll happily spend ages jumping in and out of them. He even loves chasing bubbles! And when evening arrives, it’s time for the zoomies — Bruce will happily race up and down the whole house, making sure everyone knows that playtime is still very much on the agenda. Bruce has also discovered the joys of a heated blanket… and there is simply no going back! He is definitely more of a princess than a prince and is very happy to enjoy the comforts he feels he deserves. With all that energy and curiosity, we think Bruce would really enjoy a forever home with access to a secure outdoor space where he can safely explore, investigate and burn off some of his energy. A garden or other suitable outdoor area would be a lovely bonus for him. Above all, Bruce is such a lovely cat. It has been wonderful to see him flourish with his fosterers after a difficult start, and he has shown us what a fun, affectionate and entertaining companion he can be. Bruce is looking for a home where he’ll be loved, included and given plenty of attention — and where his new family understands that life with Bruce comes with playtime, zoomies, bubbles and, of course, a very important heated blanket. About Bruce 3

What life with Bruce 3 looks like

Bruce 3 is a small young adult mixed breed cat waiting at Feline Friends London in United Kingdom.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bruce 3, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bruce 3?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Feline Friends London handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bruce 3 on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bruce 3 if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Feline Friends London will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Bruce 3 already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bruce 3 isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Feline Friends London early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bruce 3 and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
