Bruno und Vika – Gemeinsam in ein Für-Immer-Zuhause

Mixed Breed · Female

Name Age: 5 and 4 years. Gender: male and female Compatibility: To be introduced togetherManagement: (Secured) free roamHealth: neutered, microchipped, and vaccinatedBruno and Vika must be given up due to a separation, and they are now searching for a new, loving home together. The two are a well-matched team, very gentle, cuddly, and deeply people-oriented – separation is not an option for them. Vika is approximately five years old and came from animal welfare in Ukraine. Bruno is around three to four years old and was once abandoned before finding a safe home. Both are neutered or sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and registered with Tasso. Vika has a chronic eye infection in one eye that is regularly checked by a veterinarian and currently does not require acute treatment. Both are FIV/FelV negative. After a short get-to-know phase, Bruno and Vika show clingy, communicative, and cuddly behavior. They enjoy playing with strings, measuring tapes, or small balls and love spending time with their people. In the summer, they like to go outside, but in the winter, they prefer to stay inside and seek the company of their trusted people. After an adjustment period, both develop a great sense of loyalty and attachment. They get along well with older children but have not met dogs. What is important is a quiet, loving home where they can settle in and not have to move again. Their well-being is of utmost importance, and it is their explicit wish to be placed in responsible, caring hands. Bruno and Vika can be met in Köln-Müngersdorf. If you would like to give Bruno and Vika a permanent, warm home, you will receive two wonderful souls who will give you a lot of love, closeness, and gratitude. If you are interested in the two wonderful cats, please contact Michaela Lotz, evenings or AB), or Michaela.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bruno und Vika – Gemeinsam in ein Für-Immer-Zuhause, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bruno und Vika – Gemeinsam in ein Für-Immer-Zuhause?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Katzenschutzbund Köln handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bruno und Vika – Gemeinsam in ein Für-Immer-Zuhause on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bruno und Vika – Gemeinsam in ein Für-Immer-Zuhause if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Katzenschutzbund Köln will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bruno und Vika – Gemeinsam in ein Für-Immer-Zuhause already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bruno und Vika – Gemeinsam in ein Für-Immer-Zuhause isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Katzenschutzbund Köln early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bruno und Vika – Gemeinsam in ein Für-Immer-Zuhause and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
