When Brutus was brought to us by the fire department, we were left speechless: The male dog literally dragged a cloak of feces behind him. Whoever he belonged to had clearly neglected him severely. Brutus could barely move with all the felt and dirt. We immediately freed him from his stinking fur, which he greatly appreciated. In the meantime, the little one has settled in well with us and shares his room—and also his dog bed—with another senior dog. Generally, Brutus is a good-natured dog, but he can also be jealous at times. If he doesn’t want something, he makes that very clear. If you read him right and attend to his needs, he’s a little, playful fellow. With Brutus, boredom is never an issue. He likes to go for walks, is playful, and also likes to cuddle—always on his own terms. If you’re interested in Brutus, feel free to write us a detailed email. He’s confident and knows exactly where his boundaries lie. If something goes against his grain, he’ll show his teeth or snap once in a while. This animal has a history of biting.

Als Brutus mit der Feuerwehr gebracht wurde, blieb uns erst einmal der Mund offen stehen: Der Rüde zog buchstäblich einen Umhang aus Kot hinter sich her. Wem auch immer er gehörte, der hat ihn extrem vernachlässigt. Brutus konnte sich mit all dem Filz und Dreck kaum noch bewegen. Wir haben ihn sofort von seinem stinkenden Pelz befreit, worüber er sich sehr gefreut hat. Inzwischen hat sich der Kleine bei uns gut eingelebt und teilt sein Zimmer – und auch sein Körbchen – mit einem anderen Hundesenior. Grundsätzlich ist Brutus ein verträglicher Hund, aber er kann auch mal eifersüchtig werden. Wenn er etwas nicht möchte, zeigt er das sehr deutlich. Fragen Sie gerne mal unsere Kolleginnen und Kollegen ... .Wenn man ihn richtig liest und auf seine Bedürfnisse achtet, ist er ein kleiner, lustiger Kerl. Langweilig wird es mit Brutus nie.
