Bubele

Mixed Breed · Unknown

adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal!Bubele has found its home quickly! His story: Bubele is an approximately three to four year old tomcat with an unusually affectionate nature. He is very cuddly, clingy, and actively seeks the company of people – a tomcat who immediately forms trust and likes to be right in the middle of the action. He is also very social with other cats, which is why he is not rehomed as a single cat. Dorel, who cares for him, describes him affectionately as something truly special – and one can immediately sense that when meeting him. Unfortunately, his story is not a happy one: A friend of Dorel lives on a fenced-in property with three dogs. One day, he suddenly heard loud barking and growling in the garden. When he went outside, he saw that the dogs were standing around something. He immediately intervened and rescued a cat from the situation before anything worse could happen, taking her into the house. Later, a neighbor told the story that a man had thrown the cat over the fence. If Dorel's friend had not been home at that moment, Bubele probably would not have survived the situation. Fortunately, Bubele was then able to move in with Dorel, where he quickly showed himself to be a loving, grateful, and very people-oriented tomcat. He gets along well with other cats; dogs have not been tested yet. A free roam is possible for Bubele, but should only take place in a safe environment. Now, Bubele is ready for his final home – with people who will show him that he is welcome and will never have to be afraid again. Who will give this special tomcat the security, love, and safety he so deserves? For his travel arrangements, Bubele, like all our cats and tomcats, is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated. He has already tested negative for FIV and FeLV and will also carry an EU pet passport.

About Bubele

What life with Bubele looks like

Bubele is a adult mixed breed cat waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bubele, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bubele?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bubele on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bubele if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bubele already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bubele isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bubele and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
