Buddy is a six-year-old mixed breed, likely a German shepherd and Belgian Malinois. Currently weighs 36 kilograms. He came to the shelter because his owner could no longer take care of him. In his previous home, Buddy had inappropriate behavior, however, this behavior is not displayed here, so it's possible that his previous life and situation had a big influence. As his breed suggests, he is a loyal and very active dog who wants (and loves) cooperation with a person. He demands attention with barking, gets excited very quickly about anything, and then joyfully grabs the leash and drools with enthusiasm. He is food motivated, so cooperation with rewards is a big motivation for him. He knows the commands "sit", "lie down", "stay" and if he is concentrating, he can also walk by your side. On the leash, he tends to drag people, but he will let himself be explained. In the kennel run, he is clean and doesn't destroy anything. He is friendly, contact-oriented, and affectionate with people. He actively seeks out human company. If he wants to go out, he takes the leash in his mouth :) We recommend him more for older children, he is not inherently mean to children, but due to his grabbing and quick excitability, a conflict could occur. Cats and other animals will probably be chased, and the new owner will have to work on this a lot. Other dogs are not his first priority, but if something happens, he will definitely react. He will be suitable for active people who want an active and cooperative partner. He is not the type of dog you install in the yard and ignore. He will not be suitable for a chaotic person, nor for a person who has a positive relationship with alcohol.

Buddy je šestiletý kříženec nejspíše německého ovčáka a belgického ovčáka malinois. Aktuálně váží 36 kilo. Do útulku se dostal po té, co se o něj jeho majitel už nemohl postarat. V předchozím domově došlo k nevhodnému chování Buddyho, nicméně u nás se toto chování neprojevuje, je tedy možné, že zde měl velký vliv předchozí život a situace. Jak už napovídá jeho, plemeno" je to oddaný a velmi aktivní pes, který chce (a miluje) spolupráci s člověkem. Pozornost si vynucuje štěkáním, velmi rychle se pro cokoli nadchne a pak vám radostí chňape po vodítku a nadšením slintá. Je žravý, takže spolupráce za odměny je pro něj velkou motivací. Z povelů umí, sedni", ,lehni", ,pac" a když se zrovna soustředí, tak zvládá i chůzi u nohy. Na vodítku má sklony k vláčení lidí, ale nechá si to vysvětlit. V kotci je čistotný a nic neničí. K lidem je přátelský, kontaktní, mazlivý. Společnost člověka vyloženě vyhledává. Pokud chce ven, vezme vodítko do tlamy :) Doporučujeme ho spíše k odrostlejším dětem, není apriory zlý na děti, ale vzhledem k jeho chňapání a rychlé excitovatelnosti by mohlo dojít ke konfliktu. Kočky a jinou zvěř bude nejspíše lovit, na tomto by nový majitel musel ještě hodně zapracovat. Jiné psy prvoplánově neřeší, ale kdyby se něco semlelo, tak se rozhodně ozve. Bude vhodný pro aktivní lidi, kteří chtějí aktivního a spolupracujícího parťáka. Není to typ psa, kterého nainstalujete na zahradu a víc ho nebudete řešit.
