Male · Puppy · 6 months

Buddy is an adorable sweet puppy looking for a home in the UK. He currently weighs around 20kg and will remain a medium sized, athletic dog. He was recently neutered. Rescue Story in brief: He was taken away from his mother and siblings when he was a tiny puppy, and dumped on the streets to fend for himself. Sadly, he was brutally attacked by street dogs and left in very bad condition, unable to eat or defend himself. He was severely injured and needed medical care, but thankfully he has grown into a healthy, happy pup now. Health or disability details: He was born with a short tail, and some missing toes in his left rear paw. Temperament details : He is a very sweet, friendly, and affectionate boy who loves cuddles and enjoys playing with other dogs and toys, He is good with cats and dogs alike. Not tested with children, but he is very gentle and peaceful puppy, so it’s likely he will do well around them according to his rescuer.

Frequently asked

Adopting Buddy- short tail and missing toes, seeking an adopter, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Buddy- short tail and missing toes, seeking an adopter?

Can I adopt Buddy- short tail and missing toes, seeking an adopter if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Miracle will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.

What happens if Buddy- short tail and missing toes, seeking an adopter isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Miracle early rather than rehoming privately; they know Buddy- short tail and missing toes, seeking an adopter and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
