The five-year-old Budha wandered around and appeared to have no own home. A concerned neighbor called us, and now Budha is lodging with us. But he much prefers having his own home. Do you have a spot for Budha? Budha has mixed feelings about his stay at our shelter. Of course, he finds it very pleasant to have a nice sleeping spot and to receive food and drink daily, but what he thinks of us humans, he hasn't figured out yet. Still, he seems to be relaxing quite slowly. At first, he would glare at us with a angry look from the edge of his basket. He also couldn't appreciate a chat. Now, he has found a cozy hollow in a crabapple tree and looks relaxed at what we are doing. Sometimes he takes a stroll outside, but that still feels very exciting to him. Getting close to him or petting him is still a bridge too far. And Budha is quick with his sharp claws. But because we see progress, we expect that he will make some steps in a familiar environment. And who knows what kind of cute and loving kitty he will be when he's fully zen! It's good to know about Budha. Because Budha finds everything a bit exciting, he is supported with the natural supplement Zylkene. The advice is to continue this in his new home to make the transition easier, and to gradually phase it out after a few months. De vijfjarige Budha zwierf rond en bleek geen eigen huisje te hebben. Een bezorgde buurtbewoner belde ons en nu logeert Budha bij ons. Maar veel liever heeft hij een huisje voor zichzelf. Heb jij een mandje voor Budha? Dit is Budha Budha heeft over zijn verblijf in onze opvang laten we zeggen ‘mixed feelings'. Uiteraard vindt hij het erg prettig dat hij een fijn slaapplekje heeft en dat hij dagelijks eten en drinken krijgt, maar wat hij van ons mensen moet vinden, daar is hij nog niet over uit. Toch lijkt hij wel heel langzaam wat meer te ontspannen. In het begin lag hij ons met een boze blik over de rand van zijn mandje aan te kijken. Ook een praatje kon hij niet waarderen. Iets later had hij een fijn holletje in een krabpaal gevonden en keek hij ontspannen wat we aan het doen waren. Nu durft Budha zijn holletje ook te verlaten en vindt hij het leuk om te spelen. Samen met ons maar ook alleen. Tegen een balletje tikken kan hij goed. Een voetballende Budha! Dichtbij hem komen of hem een aaitje geven is nog een brug te ver. En Budha is snel met zijn scherpe nageltjes! Maar omdat we hem wel stapjes zien maken, verwachten we dat hij zich in een eigen vertrouwde omgeving met wat geduld en in zijn eigen tempo nog wel verder zal ontwikkelen. En wie weet wat voor leuke en lieve kater hij is als hij helemaal zen is! Goed om te weten over Budha Omdat Budha alles een beetje spannend vindt, wordt hij ondersteund met het natuurlijk supplement Zylkene.
