adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Budner has found a home! His story: 70563 Stuttgart. Charmanter Budner on the hunt for his final home! Budner lived until travel arrangements with his 6 siblings on a private plot in Romania. There, he got to know other dogs, cats, and also children. Budner is the smallest male dog from the litter, who convinces with his sweet nature and character. Budner is incredibly social and gets along with all animals. Whether cat, rabbit, or chicken, he plays with all and is always friendly. He is also open to strangers and not overly excited. He has a relaxed character and is a balanced puppy. Budner is about 6 months old, currently measuring around 54 cm, runs well on a leash, and loves to play in the garden. He needs a lot of attention, can't be left alone yet, so his people should have plenty of time for him. He is very trainable and wants to learn more. Our puppy could be a German Shepherd mix. German Shepherds bring typical traits like balance, nerve strength, and self-confidence. For Budner, we are looking for people who appreciate this being and can challenge and guide them appropriately. In addition to physical exertion, mental work should be on the daily program. A positively reinforcing training style and a consistent and loving upbringing are assumed. The future family of the Budner has struck the jackpot because he brings everything with him that one could wish for in a loyal family member. He is open, playful, curious, and fun to be around. He also gets along well with his fellow animals and cats. Upon arriving in his new life, the puppy will need an adjustment phase, as many new impressions will come his way that he must process. The pace of arrival should be determined by him himself. The rascal will soon enter puberty. He will have many ideas in his head and test his limits. But this slightly more challenging phase will be mastered by his family with a consistent and yet loving upbringing. Budner would also surely be very happy about a visit to a positively working dog training class. There, he can practice the entire dog ABC and at the same time have a lot of fun with his fellow animals. Budner travels microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated to his new life. With him in the luggage is his own EU pet passport. He will arrive after a positive Fabi! You gave Budner his beautiful name!

Vielen Dank Fabi! Du hast Budner seinen schönen Namen geschenkt!

About Budner

What life with Budner looks like

Budner is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Budner, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Budner?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Budner on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Budner if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Budner already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Budner isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Budner and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
