Bulette

Female · Adult · 4 years

Bullette is a female cross-breed dog, born in 2022 (estimation), who arrived at the shelter in June 2025 after spending several months in the pound in Trets. Her exact past is unknown, as she was not identified, but she quickly showed her charming and lively personality. Bullette is a ball of energy and love. Curious, lively, and very playful, she loves to run, explore, and especially to swim. Once well-exhausted, she knows how to settle down and enjoy calm moments. She gets along with other dogs, but for her balance, it is preferable that she be the only dog in the home to receive the necessary attention. She loves children, but she can be too rough in her play and requires supervised and guided interactions. Bullette seeks an experienced family, accustomed to dogue or staff-type dogs, capable of offering her a stable, consistent, and reassuring environment. She can live in a house or an apartment, provided she has daily enriching and varied outings. With the right people, Bullette will become a joyful, loyal, and extremely affectionate companion, ready to share adventures and moments of tenderness. Adoption terms: Are you interested? Fill out the form here: The team contacts you to exchange and set up a meeting. The meeting takes place on-site at the shelter in Barcelonnette (04, Alpes de Haute-Provence). Important: No remote reservations or carpooling: a visit in person is mandatory. Dogs are adoptable throughout France. All our dogs are identified, vaccinated, sterilized, dewormed, and adoptable with a health certificate. A two-week trial period is offered for a gentle adoption. About Bulette

What life with Bulette looks like

Bulette is a large adult dog waiting at 30 Millions d'Amis in Paris.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. A larger dog like this one needs daily off-leash time when possible — a fenced yard or regular access to safe walking trails. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Fees are typically €150–€300. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bulette, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bulette?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. 30 Millions d'Amis handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bulette on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bulette if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — 30 Millions d'Amis will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bulette already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bulette isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with 30 Millions d'Amis early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bulette and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
