Bullet

Unknown · Baby · 11 months

Meet our adorable 11-month-old Russian dwarf hamster, Bullet, who is looking for a loving new home. This little character is everything you could want in a hamster – friendly, confident, and always curious about what’s going on around her. She enjoys interacting with people and isn’t shy about coming over to say hello, making her a wonderful companion for someone looking to welcome a small pet into their life. At just 11 months old, she still has plenty of life and personality to share with her future family. We are hoping to find her a home where she will be loved, well cared for, and given plenty of enrichment to keep her active mind busy. She deserves a family who will appreciate her sweet nature and provide her with everything she needs to thrive. Could you offer this charming little hamster the forever home he is searching for? Hamsters must live alone in a cage that is at least 1m long and 60cm wide.

About Bullet

What life with Bullet looks like

Bullet is a small puppy/kitten animal waiting at Thornberry Animal Sanctuary in United Kingdom.

Every animal has their own temperament and history. The shelter knows Bullet far better than any listing can convey — ask about daily routine, ideal household, and what kind of adopter they're hoping for.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bullet, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bullet?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Thornberry Animal Sanctuary handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bullet on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bullet if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Thornberry Animal Sanctuary will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bullet already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most animals on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bullet isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Thornberry Animal Sanctuary early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bullet and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
