Bunny

Male · Puppy · 8 months

Bunny is a young American Bully just one year old, full of life. Charming, affectionate and a big fan of cuddles, he loves spending time with his humans and wants to share their daily lives. Like any teenager, Bunny still tests some limits. He needs a clear, consistent and reassuring framework. We are looking for a family who has good knowledge of the breed, can accompany him with patience, consistency and kindness. A firm hand in a velvet glove will be the key to his success. Bunny could be the only dog in the household or live with a balanced and well-behaved female who will show him the right behaviors. Behind his impressive physique is a sensitive, endearing and incredibly close-to-human dog. He has already proven that he is a real fighter. Today, all he needs is a family ready to love him, guide him and offer him the stability he deserves. Because Bunny doesn't just wait for adoption... he waits for his family. 📍 Visible at Mouscron Animal Shelter. 📩 For any adoption inquiries, contact us or come meet him. You gave him a second chance. Now give him the best life possible.

About Bunny

What life with Bunny looks like

Bunny is a puppy/kitten dog waiting at SPA Mouscron in Mouscron.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇧🇪Adopting from Belgium

Belgian shelters operate under regional law (Flanders, Wallonia, Brussels each have their own rules). All adoptions include the Eurochip, vaccinations, and a stewardship contract. Several Flemish shelters partner with Dutch and German rescue networks.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bunny, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bunny?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. SPA Mouscron handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bunny on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bunny if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — SPA Mouscron will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bunny already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bunny isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with SPA Mouscron early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bunny and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
