Buster (Бустер)

Mixed Breed · Male

Do you remember Buster? The dog who sat up on the kennel and became a true "TV star." Our very first Spider-Man. Although we found him a home a year and a half ago, we found him on the street again some time ago, and now, unfortunately, he will be with us again until we find him a home. Buster is very energetic, cheerful, and adores people, especially children! He also likes dogs, gets along well with them, and just doesn't like being provoked. He would be an ideal companion for an active family living in a house with a large, well-fenced yard. He doesn't deserve to keep waiting. He deserves a stable home and someone who won't give up on him. Adopt a dog, adopt love.

About Buster (Бустер)

What life with Buster (Бустер) looks like

Buster (Бустер) is an adult mixed breed dog waiting at Lajka - Dog Shelter Skopje in Skopje.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇲🇰Adopting from North Macedonia

The shelter typically completes the animal's vaccinations, microchipping, and pet passport before adoption. Specific fees and process details vary by shelter and country — confirm directly via the contact details in the sidebar.

Frequently asked

Adopting Buster (Бустер), answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Buster (Бустер)?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Lajka - Dog Shelter Skopje handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Buster (Бустер) on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Buster (Бустер) if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Lajka - Dog Shelter Skopje will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Buster (Бустер) already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Buster (Бустер) isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Lajka - Dog Shelter Skopje early rather than rehoming privately; they know Buster (Бустер) and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (MK). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
