Adopt Butch

Butch came to us at the animal shelter as a stray in April. He first appeared with his finders at the end of March, but unfortunately no one came forward to claim him as missing. Upon arrival, his fur was matted, though otherwise he was in good condition. After vaccination and deworming, he moved into the cattery. The large red-and-white tomcat does not feel comfortable around other cats and keeps his distance from them. If another cat gets too close, he clearly shows that he dislikes it. He is initially reserved toward people but is by no means aggressive. We hope Butch finds a home as an only cat with secure outdoor access. His new owners should be patient and willing to give him time to settle in comfortably. They should also be aware of his grooming needs.

Butch kam als Fundtier im April zu uns ins Tierheim. Er tauchte bereits Ende März bei seinen Findern auf, doch leider meldete sich niemand, der ihn vermisste. Bei seiner Ankunft war sein Fell verfilzt, ansonsten war er in einem guten Zustand. Nach Impfung und Entwurmung zog er ins Katzenhaus um. Der große rot-weiße Kater fühlt sich in Gesellschaft anderer Katzen nicht wohl und hält Abstand zu ihnen. Wenn ihm eine Katze zu nahekommt, zeigt er deutlich, dass er das nicht mag. Menschen gegenüber ist er anfangs zurückhaltend, aber keinesfalls aggressiv. Wir wünschen uns für Butch ein Zuhause als Einzelprinz mit gesichertem Freigang. Seine neuen Besitzer sollten Geduld und Zeit mitbringen, damit er sich gut eingewöhnen kann. Auch die Fellpflege sollte ihnen bewusst sein.
