Candy arrived at the shelter after her owners entered an EHPAD. One day, everything in her life changed. Her home, her familiar surroundings, her routines, the voices she loved to hear… all were gone. For her, there is no explanation. Only an immense emptiness and a lot of confusion. Today, Candy remains in the background. Perched on her shelf, she silently observes her surroundings. She watches the comings and goings, the other residents, the volunteers, and the staff who pass by her. Her eyes tell a story that words cannot express: of a heart still searching for its humans. She does not demand anything. She simply waits. Perhaps she still hopes to see them step through the door. Behind her discretion lies a deeply shaken kitten who needs time to regain her confidence and understand that her life is not over. We dream for Candy of a new beginning, a home filled with gentleness, patience, and love. A place where she can, at her own pace, lay down her sorrow and learn to be happy again. Because at her age, after losing everything, Candy deserves more than ever to find the warmth of a family. Let us not forget that. Behind her silence, Candy still waits for someone to open her heart.

Candy est arrivée au refuge après l’entrée en EHPAD de ses propriétaires. Du jour au lendemain, toute sa vie a basculé. Son foyer, ses repères, ses habitudes, les voix qu’elle aimait entendre… tout a disparu. Pour elle, il n’y a pas d’explication. Seulement une immense absence et beaucoup d’incompréhension. Aujourd’hui, Candy reste en retrait. Installée sur son étagère, elle observe silencieusement ce qui l’entoure. Elle regarde les allées et venues, les autres pensionnaires, les bénévoles, les salariés qui passent devant elle. Ses yeux racontent une histoire que les mots ne peuvent pas exprimer : celle d’un cœur qui cherche encore ses humains. Elle ne réclame rien. Elle attend simplement. Peut-être espère-t-elle encore les voir franchir la porte. Derrière sa discrétion se cache une minette profondément bouleversée, qui a besoin de temps pour retrouver confiance et comprendre que sa vie n’est pas terminée. Nous rêvons pour Candy d’un nouveau départ, d’un foyer rempli de douceur, de patience et d’amour. Un endroit où elle pourra, à son rythme, déposer son chagrin et réapprendre à être heureuse. Parce qu’à son âge, après avoir tout perdu, Candy mérite plus que jamais de retrouver la chaleur d’une famille. Ne l’oublions pas.
