Candy is a sweet, friendly, and people-oriented cat. She was born on August 15, 2024, and was brought to the shelter by the police in July 2025 with her six kittens. Candy was very thin and struggled to care for her young kittens on the street. All her kittens have now been adopted, and Candy has gained weight. She has been at the shelter for over a year and deserves a loving home. Candy enjoys human company and sometimes gets bored in the shelter, leading her to overeat and become slightly overweight. She loves to play and enjoys the attention from volunteers. Candy is not fond of being lifted and held for long periods but can be easily transported. Initially, Candy did not get along with other cats, but she has grown accustomed to the adult cats she meets daily in the yard. She does not cuddle with them but lives peacefully with them. Candy dislikes dogs. In her new home, she would be happy with a cat that does not need a cuddle buddy. A connected balcony or a secure garden should be available. Candy has been at the shelter for too long and is often overlooked when people come to adopt a cat. She was a fantastic mother and lovingly raised her six kittens. Now it's time for her to find a family that will care for her and give her a home.

Candy war sehr dünn und es fiel ihr schwer, ihre jungen Kätzchen auf der Straße zu versorgen.Mittlerweile wurden alle ihre Kätzchen adoptiert und Candy hat wieder Gewicht zugenommen.Sie lebt jetzt schon seit über einem Jahr im Tierheim und hat es verdient, ein eigenes Zuhause zu finden.Candy ist eine sehr freundliche Katze, die die Gesellschaft von Menschen genießt. Manchmal langweilt sie sich ein bisschen im Tierheim und sie vermisst ihre Streifzüge und Entdeckungstouren.Das führt dazu, dass sie sich öfter dem Futter und den Leckerlis zuwendet, um sich die Zeit zu vertreiben. Sie ist deshalb ein bisschen übergewichtig geworden. Candy liebt es zu spielen und sie genießt die Streicheleinheiten der freiwilligen Helfer. Sie mag nicht gerne hochgehoben und lange festgehalten werden, kann aber problemlos transportiert werden.Anfangs mochte Candy keine anderen Katzen, aber mittlerweile hat sie sich an die erwachsenen Katzen gewöhnt, die sie täglich im Hof trifft.
