Canello is our young whirlwind – full of energy, joie de vivre, and a wonderful character. He is a large, strong, and boisterous dog, yet he radiates a great deal of friendliness and curiosity. His size and strength should not be underestimated, however: Canello still often jumps up on people out of sheer happiness and can unintentionally leave scratches. That is why we are looking for dog-experienced people who can handle him confidently. Small children should not live in his new home. With other dogs, Canello is curious and generally compatible. However, he does sometimes start squabbling when outside, which is why clear leadership is important. At the shelter, he loves playing with other dogs, using his whole body in the process and not being particularly gentle. Canello loves being out and about – whether for a long walk or an extended outing with plenty of exercise. In addition, he regularly attends dog training school with his sponsor, where he shows how eager to learn and confident he can be. He enjoys working alongside his handler, responds well to treats, and continues to develop steadily with training and patience. For Canello, we are seeking an active home with people who enjoy channeling his energy in the right direction. Those who provide him with the necessary upbringing, mental and physical stimulation, and affection will gain a loyal, lovable companion.

Canello ist unser junger Wirbelwind – voller Energie, Lebensfreude und mit einem tollen Charakter. Er ist ein großer, kräftiger und stürmischer Hund, der aber viel Freundlichkeit und Neugierde ausstrahlt. Seine Größe und Kraft sollte man allerdings nicht unterschätzen: Canello springt Menschen noch häufig aus Freude an und kann dabei unbeabsichtigt für Kratzer sorgen. Deshalb wünschen wir uns für ihn hundeerfahrene Menschen, die ihn souverän führen können. Kleine Kinder sollten nicht in seinem neuen Zuhause leben.Mit anderen Hunden zeigt sich Canello neugierig und grundsätzlich verträglich. Allerdings steigt er draußen schon mal in Pöbeleien ein, weshalb klare Führung wichtig ist. Im Tierheim spielt er mit Artgenossen sehr gerne, nutzt dabei aber seinen ganzen Körpereinsatz und ist nicht gerade zimperlich.Canello liebt es, draußen unterwegs zu sein – ob für einen ausgedehnten Spaziergang oder eine lange Runde mit viel Bewegung. Zusätzlich besucht er regelmäßig mit seinem Paten die Hundeschule und zeigt dort, wie lernwillig und souverän er sein kann. Er arbeitet gerne mit, reagiert gut auf Leckerlis und entwickelt sich mit Training und Geduld stetig weiter.Für Canello suchen wir ein aktives Zuhause bei Menschen, die Freude daran haben, seine Energie in die richtigen Bahnen zu lenken. Wer ihm die nötige Erziehung, Auslastung und Zuwendung schenkt, bekommt einen loyalen, liebenswerten Begleiter.
