Caramel, a charming Chihuahua, is looking for a new, loving home after he was given away by illness from his owner. This little man is a real human friend. He enjoys great company and is preferably close to his people. He currently finds it difficult to be alone, so we are actively working on bench training. For Caramel we are not looking for a home where someone is always present, but people who are willing to work on this and guide him in this. When he arrived, we noticed that his lungs were not in optimal condition. We suspect pneumonia, for which he is currently receiving the necessary medication and follow-up. At the moment we cannot say with certainty whether he will fully recover from this or whether there will be permanent concerns. Caramel can live with other dogs and cats and is known as a true all-man friend. With new people he can bark at first, but as soon as he realizes that everything is okay, his soft character comes up quickly and enjoys a hug moment. Caramel, een charmante Chihuahua, is op zoek naar een nieuwe, liefdevolle thuis nadat hij werd afgestaan door ziekte van zijn eigenaar. Deze kleine man is een echte mensenvriend. Hij geniet enorm van gezelschap en is het liefst dicht bij zijn mensen. Alleen zijn vindt hij momenteel nog moeilijk, daarom wordt er bij ons actief gewerkt aan benchtraining. Voor Caramel zoeken we dus geen thuis waar altijd iemand aanwezig is, maar wel mensen die bereid zijn om hier verder mee aan de slag te gaan en hem hierin te begeleiden. Bij zijn aankomst merkten we dat zijn longen niet in optimale conditie waren. We vermoeden een longontsteking, waarvoor hij momenteel de nodige medicatie en opvolging krijgt. Op dit moment kunnen we nog niet met zekerheid zeggen of hij hier volledig van zal herstellen of dat er blijvende aandachtspunten zullen zijn. Caramel kan samenleven met andere honden en katten en staat bekend als een echte allemansvriend. Bij nieuwe mensen kan hij in het begin even blaffen, maar zodra hij doorheeft dat alles oké is, komt zijn zachte karakter snel naar boven en geniet hij van een knuffelmomentje.
