Casandra

Female

Casandra ID No.: 147352 Breed: EHK Age: 06/2021 Sex: female Housing: Indoor cat Neutered/Spayed: Yes Location: Marbella / Spain Application form Not suitable for single-cat households. Casandra's start in life was unfortunately a bit rough. She spent her first months in a residential area, having to fight her way through life—always searching for a home of her own and loving people. One day, the residents chased her away, but Cassandra got lucky: she was found by kind-hearted people who alerted the authorities. This is how Casandra ended up in the care of our Spanish partner shelter, Triple A. Casandra was still too young for shelter life, but luck was once again on her side—she secured a spot at one of our foster homes in Spain. Ever since, she’s been waiting for luck to smile upon her a third time and for her future forever family to discover her. At her foster home, Casandra consistently shows her sweet side. She’s rather a quiet cat who causes absolutely no trouble and gets along wonderfully with other cats and even dogs. Casandra has a little weakness for toys—she especially loves falling asleep with her favorite toy clutched in her paw, the very same one she’s had since her rescue. Little Casandra possesses an incredibly big heart, with plenty of room to lovingly welcome her new favorite humans. However, she needs experienced cat owners by her side—people who can patiently and empathetically give her a wonderful fresh start to a true cat’s life. In return, she’ll reward her new family with lifelong friendship ❤️ Who would like to give lovely Casandra a warm spot to call her own and spoil her with lots of cuddles? 🙏 Casandra is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and treated against parasites. Vaccinations: Yes Dog-friendly: Yes Adoption fee plus €85.00 transport fee Contact person Andrea Mürner Tel: Email:

Casandra ID-Nr: 147352 Rasse: EHK Alter: 06/2021 Geschlecht: weiblich Haltung: Wohnungskatze Kastriert/Sterilisiert: Ja Aufenthalt / Ort: Marbella / Spanien Anfrageformular Nicht in Einzelhaltung Casandra's Start ins Leben war leider etwas holprig. About Casandra

What life with Casandra looks like

Casandra is a large adult cat waiting at Helfende Hände e.V. in Germany.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Casandra, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Casandra?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Helfende Hände e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Casandra on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Casandra if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Helfende Hände e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Casandra already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Casandra isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Helfende Hände e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Casandra and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
