Cassandra is a beautiful female dog with great long fur, who looks forward to lots of snuggle sessions! She was rescued from the public shelter in Zalau, where she would have been euthanized soon. Now she is in a private shelter. Much better conditions – but she’s safe! “The most loving dog we have in our care…” say the animal welfare workers about her. Cassandra is estimated to be around 4 years old and measures about 58 cm and 26 kg, bringing a medium size with her. She is a friendly female dog who enjoys the company of humans – she dances with joy when you pet her. She gets along well with other dogs and also walks nicely on a leash. Cassandra shines in a new luster! She has found her life’s purpose again and laughs from ear to ear. It’s so beautiful to see – even more beautiful would be to have a warm dog bed for her. Cassandra could be a Mioritic-mixed breed and bring with her protective qualities of a herding breed when she settles in. One should therefore familiarize themselves with the characteristics of such a breed and consider whether the dog fits into the personal environment. Herding dogs are not city or office dogs. A large property that she can guard would be ideal for her. Since the territory of a herding dog extends as far as she can see, the property should be fenced to show her her territory boundaries. Herding dogs are independent personalities that require their owner to have consistency and empathy and the ability to deal with an intelligent, independent, large dog. They bring many wonderful qualities. People who already have experience with herding dogs do not want any other breeds, as they are despite their thick skulls very loyal and faithful companions. Our Cassandra is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated. She brings her EU pet passport with her and can be adopted after a positive foster home experience! Cassandra ist eine wunderschöne Hündin mit tollem, langen Fell, die sich sehr auf ausgiebige Kuscheleinheiten freut! Sie wurde aus dem öffentlichen Shelter in Zalau gerettet, denn hier wäre sie bald getötet worden. Nun ist sie in einem privaten Shelter untergekommen. Kaum bessere Bedingungen – aber in Sicherheit! „Der liebevollste Hund, den wir in unserer Obhut haben…“ So sprechen die Tierschützer über sie. Cassandra wird auf etwa 4 Jahre geschätzt und bringt mit etwa 58 cm und 26 kg eine mittlere Größe mit. Sie ist eine freundliche Hündin, die den Kontakt zu Menschen sehr genießt – sie tanzt vor Glück, wenn man sie streichelt. Mit anderen Hunden kommt Cassandra gut aus und auch an der Leine läuft sie schon recht gut. Cassandra erstrahlt in neuem Glanz! Sie hat ihren Lebensmut wieder gefunden und lacht bis über beide Ohren. Das ist so schön mit anzusehen – noch schöner wäre es, wenn wir ein warmes Körbchen für sie hätten. Cassandra könnte ein Mioritic-Mischling sein und entsprechende Herdenschutzeigenschaften mitbringen, wenn sie sich eingelebt hat. Man sollte sich daher vorher mit den Eigenschaften einer solchen Rasse auseinandersetzen und auch überlegen, ob der Hund in das persönliche Umfeld passt. Herdenschutzhunde sind keine Stadt- oder Bürohunde. Toll wäre für sie daher ein großes Grundstück, das sie bewachen kann. Da das Territorium eines Herdenschutzhundes so weit reicht, wie sie gucken kann, sollte das Grundstück eingezäunt sein, um ihr ihre Territoriumsgrenzen zu zeigen. Herdenschutzhunde sind eigenständige Persönlichkeiten, die Konsequenz und Einfühlungsvermögen durch den Besitzer voraussetzen und die Fähigkeit, sich mit einem intelligenten, selbständig handelnden, großen Hund auseinandersetzen zu können. Sie bringen viele tolle Eigenschaften mit. Menschen die bereits Erfahrung mit Herdenschutzhunden gemacht haben, wollen keine anderen Rassen mehr haben, da sie trotz ihres Dickschädels sehr treue und loyale Begleiter sind. Unsere Cassandra ist kastriert, gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht. Sie bringt ihren EU-Heimtierausweis mit und kann nach positiver Vorkontrolle und gegen eine Schutzgebühr von 500 Euro in ihr neues Leben reisen.
