Cato Two is a one-year-old female cat. She was given to us because her owner was no longer able to care for her. Clever Cato is an independent girl who enjoys having the freedom to decide for herself what she wants to do. She can entertain herself just fine and prefers playing alone with a ball or a mouse. She doesn’t really feel the need for her human companion to interfere with her activities. However, she does come over to ask for attention when she feels like it and sometimes even jumps onto your lap—though only if you’re sitting very quietly and not trying to pet her too much. Simply settling down calmly on your lap and falling asleep is enough for her. When there’s any movement, though, she quickly retreats—it makes her nervous. Cato is simply shy and easily startled. Strange noises and visitors aren’t really her thing either. Usually, she’ll find a quiet spot in another room. Occasionally, though, if she notices a calm visitor who ignores her, she’ll cautiously peek over to see who’s come in. She’s shy around noises, strangers, too many people, and sudden movements. If someone comes to visit, she’ll slip away but then cautiously peek back later. If you ignore her, she’ll come right up to you. But her favorite time of day is definitely at night. Curling up comfortably on the duvet next to her human companion—that’s when Cato feels completely happy and relaxed. She has sensitive intestines and needs special, easily digestible food. Hopefully, she won’t have to stick to this diet for the rest of her life, but we can’t say for sure. This uncertain girl finds outdoor life too exciting and would therefore be perfectly suited to living in an apartment. The apartment should, however, be spacious enough so that she can find her own quiet spot whenever she feels the need.

Cato twee is een poes van 1 jaar oud. Ze is bij ons afgestaan nadat de eigenaar niet meer in staat was om voor haar te zorgen. Knappe Cato is een zelfstandige meid die het fijn vindt om de ruimte te krijgen om zelf te bepalen wat ze doet. Ze kan zichzelf prima vermaken en speelt ook het liefst alleen met een balletje of muisje. Vindt het niet echt nodig dat de baas zich hiermee gaat bemoeien. Wel komt ze om aandacht vragen als ze dit wil en komt soms ook op schoot, dat is als je heel stil zit en niet teveel wil gaan aaien. Gewoon rustig bij je op schoot in slaap vallen is voldoende. Bij bewegingen is ze weg, dat vindt ze dan toch wel spanned. Cato is gewoon verlegen en schrikt snel. Vreemde geluiden en bezoek is ook niet haar ding. Meestal zoekt ze dan een rustig plekje op in een andere ruimte, soms komt ze bij rustig bezoek die haar negeren wel stoer even kijken wie er binnen is gekomen. Verlegen voor geluiden, vreemde, te veel mensen, snelle bewegingen. Gaat weg voor bezoek komt daarna voorzichtig kijken. Haar negeren dan komt ze bij je. Maar haar favoriete moment is toch wel ’s nachts. Lekker op het dekbed tegen de baas aan in slaap vallen, dan is Cato helemaal gelukkig en ontspannen. Ze heeft gevoelige darmen en moet special lichtverteerbaar voer krijgen. Hopelijk niet de rest van haar leven, maar dat durven wij niet met zekerheid te zeggen. Deze onzekere meid vindt het buitenleven te spannend en kan dan ook prima op een flat worden geplaatst. Wel moet deze ruim zijn zodat ze haar eigen plek kan opzoeken als ze daar behoefte aan heeft.
