Celia1

Female · Young · 3 years

Celia1, a playful little dog, was rescued from the municipal Perrera along with Lady4. For the moment, she lives in a shelter. A permanent home or foster placement would of course be even better for the little dog. We have been searching for the right people for her since mid-June 2026. Celia1 is a small playful dog. She loves playing fetch and always encourages her caregiver to throw the ball again. She has a short tail, but this does not restrict her physically at all, as she dashes around the yard. Celia1 gets along well with other dogs, so she could continue to live with other dogs. She probably won't know the dog rules yet and will have to learn them with you. Would the little friendly Celia1 be perfect for her family? If you are interested, we would be very grateful for a self-disclosure! Adoption fee: €570 Celia1 travels vaccinated, chipped and dewormed to her new home. Neutered before departure. Currently, Celia1 measures about 30 cm and weighs about 5 kg. Adoption requirements: If a garden is available, it must be fenced in accordingly for the dog. Please note that we only mediate within Germany. This also applies to foster placements! If you are interested in Celia1, please fill out our self-disclosure, as we cannot answer your request otherwise: Contact:

About Celia1

What life with Celia1 looks like

Celia1 is a young adult dog waiting at Notfellchen Rumänien e.V. in Germany.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Celia1, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Celia1?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Notfellchen Rumänien e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Celia1 on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Celia1 if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Notfellchen Rumänien e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Celia1 already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Celia1 isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Notfellchen Rumänien e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Celia1 and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
