On January 29, 2026, Cinderella’s life took a dramatic turn thanks to an intervention that rescued her from a farm where animals were kept in deplorable conditions. The owners, already known for previous cases of animal abuse and convicted a few years earlier, continued to exploit their animals without regard for their welfare. For many long months, Cinderella knew nothing but a daily existence marked by deprivation and unsanitary conditions. Like the other rabbits on site, she had been raised for consumption, never having the chance to run, dig, or simply enjoy an environment suited to her needs. At the Animaux en Péril shelter, she finally discovered a world where she is respected and cared for. Although her past has made her wary, Cinderella is gradually revealing her true personality. She is a gentle, calm, and endearing rabbit who simply needs time to understand that she no longer has anything to fear. Today, we hope to find her a patient family—someone capable of offering her a peaceful home where she can continue to build confidence at her own pace. Le 29 janvier 2026, Cendrillon a vu sa vie basculer grâce à une intervention qui a permis de la sortir d'un élevage où les animaux vivaient dans des conditions indignes. Les propriétaires, déjà connus pour des faits de maltraitance et condamnés quelques années plus tôt, continuaient pourtant à exploiter leurs animaux sans se soucier de leur bien-être. Pendant de longs mois, Cendrillon n'a connu qu'un quotidien fait de privations et d'insalubrité. Comme les autres lapins présents sur place, elle était élevée pour la consommation, sans jamais pouvoir courir, creuser ou simplement profiter d'un environnement adapté à ses besoins. Au refuge Animaux en Péril, elle a enfin découvert un monde où elle est respectée et soignée. Si son passé l'a rendue méfiante, Cendrillon révèle peu à peu sa véritable personnalité. C'est une lapine douce, calme et attachante, qui a simplement besoin de temps pour comprendre qu'elle n'a plus rien à craindre. Nous espérons aujourd'hui lui trouver une famille patiente, capable de lui offrir un foyer serein où elle pourra continuer à prendre confiance à son rythme.
