Chacha has been living on the streets for several months before being taken in by the shelter. His health has gradually deteriorated, and he was taken in to provide him with the care and security he needed. Chacha is a very fearful cat at first. He will need a lot of time, patience, and gentleness to feel safe. When his pace is respected and he is given time to approach, he accepts caresses and shows that he can form a bond with humans. Regarding his health, Chacha is a carrier of Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). He will require regular veterinary check-ups to preserve his comfort and quality of life as much as possible. He will also need regular eye drops to maintain his ocular comfort. He gets along with other cats, but gradual introductions will be necessary to respect his pace and promote a good adaptation. Due to his FIV-positive status, Chacha will need to live without access to the outdoors, in a secure environment adapted to his needs.

Il aura besoin de beaucoup de temps, de patience et de douceur pour se sentir en sécurité. Lorsqu’on respecte son rythme et qu’on lui laisse le temps de s’approcher, il accepte les caresses et montre qu’il peut créer un lien avec l’humain. Concernant sa santé, Chacha est porteur du Sida du chat (FIV). Il nécessitera un suivi vétérinaire régulier afin de préserver au mieux son confort et sa qualité de vie. Il aura également besoin de gouttes dans les yeux de manière régulière afin de maintenir son confort oculaire. Il s’entend avec les autres chats, mais des présentations progressives resteront nécessaires afin de respecter son rythme et de favoriser une bonne adaptation. En raison de son statut FIV positif, Chacha devra vivre sans accès à l’extérieur, dans un environnement sécurisé et adapté à ses besoins.
