Chavo is a beautiful tabby cat with striking green eyes who was picked up by the health authorities in the Calle Archidona area. He had no microchip and was not neutered, and following veterinary tests, it was confirmed that he is FIV-positive (feline AIDS). Chavo is a very affectionate cat. He loves being around people and is constantly seeking human contact. When you walk into the room, he’s quick to come over and demand your attention. If he had his way, he’d spend most of the day in your arms or curled up on your lap, simply enjoying your company. He’s one of those cats who seem to have a special need to give and receive affection. The way he looks at you, approaches you and seeks contact makes it impossible not to grow fond of him. He doesn’t quite feel at ease with other cats. He prefers to keep his distance and doesn’t enjoy sharing space with lots of feline companions. That’s why we believe he would be much happier in a home where he could receive all the attention for himself and become the true star of the family.
