Mixed-breed Chencho - a special dog needs special people Chencho came to the shelter in the summer of 2026. The small mixed-breed was brought in by the police. His condition was very poor, his fur extremely matted, which clearly indicated that he had not received the necessary care for a long time. He also had a wound on his tail, possibly caused by self-mutilation. After everything he has been through, Chencho is now safe and receives the care and attention he deserves. It is obvious that he has had a very difficult life and needs time, patience and understanding to regain trust and feel safe. Chencho needs an experienced home and someone who has time and patience to deal with him at his own pace. He should never be pressured or forced into something he does not feel comfortable with. Respecting his boundaries and building a trusting relationship is crucial for him. Unfortunately, life in the shelter is particularly difficult for Chencho. Due to a lack of volunteers and the large number of dogs in the shelter's care, Chencho unfortunately does not receive the necessary mental and physical stimulation. Like all the dogs there, he spends over 23.5 hours a day alone in a small kennel. This is extremely stressful for a dog who already has difficulty finding his way in his surroundings. Chencho currently shows clear signs of stress, including self-injurious behavior. We assume that this behavior is at least partly related to the enormous stress he is exposed to in this environment. Therefore, Chencho should be the only dog in the household and would be best off in a household without children and cats or other animals. He needs space and experienced support to gradually develop self-confidence and security. With the right environment and patient handling, we hope that Chencho will finally feel safe and experience what it means to receive the care he deserves. After the abandonment and neglect he apparently suffered, Chencho deserves a responsible home where he is treated with love and patience and where he never has to go without the necessary care again. Mischling Chencho – ein besonderer Hund sucht besondere Menschen Chencho kam im Sommer 2026 ins Tierheim. Der kleine Mischling wurde von der Polizei eingeliefert. Sein Zustand war sehr schlecht, sein Fell extrem verfilzt, was deutlich darauf hindeutete, dass er längere Zeit nicht die nötige Pflege erhalten hatte. Er hatte außerdem eine Wunde am Schwanz, die möglicherweise durch Selbstverstümmelung verursacht wurde. Nach allem, was er durchgemacht hat, ist Chencho nun in Sicherheit und erhält die Pflege und Aufmerksamkeit, die er verdient. Es ist offensichtlich, dass er ein sehr schweres Leben hatte und Zeit, Geduld und Verständnis braucht, um wieder Vertrauen zu fassen und sich sicher zu fühlen. Chencho braucht ein erfahrenes Zuhause und jemanden, der Zeit und Geduld hat, sich in seinem eigenen Tempo mit ihm auseinanderzusetzen. Er sollte niemals unter Druck gesetzt oder zu etwas gezwungen werden, womit er sich nicht wohlfühlt. Wie alle dortigen Hunde verbringt er täglich über 23,5 Stunden allein in einem kleinen Zwinger. Dies ist extrem belastend für einen Hund, der ohnehin schon Schwierigkeiten hat, sich in seiner Umgebung zurechtzufinden. Chencho zeigt derzeit deutliche Stressanzeichen, darunter auch selbstverletzendes Verhalten. Wir gehen davon aus, dass dieses Verhalten zumindest teilweise mit dem enormen Stress zusammenhängt, dem er in dieser Umgebung ausgesetzt ist. Daher sollte Chencho der einzige Hund im Haushalt sein und wäre am besten in einem Haushalt ohne Kinder und Katzen oder andere Tiere aufgehoben. Er braucht Raum und erfahrene Unterstützung, um nach und nach Selbstvertrauen und Geborgenheit zu entwickeln. Mit dem richtigen Umfeld und einem geduldigen Umgang hoffen wir, dass Chencho sich endlich sicher fühlt und erfährt, was es bedeutet, die Pflege zu erhalten, die er verdient. Nach der Aussetzung und Vernachlässigung, die er offenbar erlitten hat, verdient Chencho ein verantwortungsvolles Zuhause, in dem er mit Liebe und Geduld behandelt wird und in dem er nie wieder ohne die nötige Fürsorge auskommen muss.
