Chicka is a beautiful Mechelse shepherd female dog, 3 years old. She came to us after her house burned down, and unfortunately it was not easy to find a new home where Chicka would be welcome. Chicka is fine living inside both during the day and at night, with access to the garden. Chicka was the only pet but could get along with other dogs. Chicka loves walking but still pulls on the leash. She knows basic commands like sit and shake very well. She is housebroken and no longer chews things. She can easily stay alone for several hours. Now Chicka is looking for a new loving home. She can be tested with a dog of her own breed. She is not placed with children. Chicka is looking for people who have experience with the breed. She will only be placed with people where she can fully be part of the family and always live inside. Who can give Chicka the home she deserves?

Chicka is een prachtige Mechelse herder teef van 3 jaar oud. Ze kwam bij ons terecht na afstand, haar huisje brandde jammer genoeg af en een nieuwe woonplaats vinden waar Chicka welkom was, was jammer genoeg niet evident. Chicka is gewoon van zowel overdag als ’s nachts vrij binnen te leven met toegang tot de tuin. Chicka was enig huisdier maar zou overweg kunnen met andere honden. Chicka gaat enorm graag wandelen maar trekt hierbij wel nog aan de lijn. Ze kent haar basiscommando’s zoals zit en pootje uitstekend. Ze is zindelijk in huis en ze bijt ook niets meer stuk. Ze kon makkelijk enkele uren alleen thuisblijven. Nu mag Chicka op zoek naar een nieuw liefdevol huisje. Ze kan getest worden met een eigen hond van haar kaliber. Ze wordt niet bij kinderen geplaatst. Chicka gaat op zoek naar mensen die ervaring hebben met het ras. Ze wordt enkel geplaatst bij mensen waar ze volledig deel mag uitmaken van het gezin en altijd binnen mag leven. Wie kan Chicka het thuisje geven dat ze verdient?
