Chicken Nugget

Male · Young · 3 years

Hello, I am Chicken Nugget, as my name suggests, I am one of the "McDonald's Kitten" too. As we are called here, it simply means we were found in the dumpster behind McDonald's. Now that I'm old enough, I've moved into the big kitten room with my siblings. At first, I used to hide a lot here, but now I'm starting to play with the other kittens. It's really great here, we can run around all day. I'm still not very friendly with people yet, but with some time, that will surely change. In my new home, I would like to be an outdoor cat, so your house should ideally be in a quiet location. Additionally, I would like to move out with a feline friend from here or to an already existing kitten. So if you're interested in me, feel free to contact this breed at our area.

What life with Chicken Nugget looks like

Chicken Nugget is a large young adult cat waiting at Tierheim u. Tierschutzverein Kreis Ahrweiler e.V. / Tierheim Remagen. in Remagen.

Frequently asked

Adopting Chicken Nugget, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Chicken Nugget?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim u. Tierschutzverein Kreis Ahrweiler e.V. / Tierheim Remagen. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Chicken Nugget on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Chicken Nugget if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierheim u. Tierschutzverein Kreis Ahrweiler e.V. / Tierheim Remagen. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Chicken Nugget already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Chicken Nugget isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim u. Tierschutzverein Kreis Ahrweiler e.V. / Tierheim Remagen. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Chicken Nugget and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
