Chili is an approximately 13-year-old Bengal cat who was surrendered to our animal shelter due to high veterinary costs and the need for a tooth operation. Now, this special senior is seeking a loving home where she can finally find peace. Chili is an incredibly people-oriented and cuddly cat. She enjoys every stroke and is happiest when she is very close to her people. With her trusted people, she is blissfully happy – but she does not need or want other cats. Therefore, we are looking for a single place for Chili where she can enjoy full attention. It is likely that Chili is almost deaf, possibly as a result of a middle ear infection. Thus, she should only live in a pure apartment setting where she is safe and secure. A secured balcony would of course be a nice bonus, but is not a must. Currently, Chili still has significant problems with her gait. A CT scan revealed that she suffers from spondylosis, or vertebral ossification. Together with our veterinarians, we are working to find an appropriate pain therapy for her so that she can soon feel better. Chili is seeking a quiet, understanding home with people of big hearts who would still like to give her many beautiful years despite her age and health issues. Whoever gives this gentle snuggling cat a chance will receive a loyal companion who returns love in its purest form. General inquiry for interested parties: Spondylosis in the back and arthritis. This cat is to be kept indoors only.

Chili ist eine etwa 13-jährige Bengalkatze, die aufgrund hoher Tierarztkosten und einer notwendigen Zahn-OP bei uns im Tierheim abgegeben wurde. Nun sucht diese besondere Seniorin ein liebevolles Zuhause, in dem sie endlich zur Ruhe kommen darf. Chili ist eine unglaublich menschenbezogene und verschmuste Katze. Sie genießt jede Streicheleinheit und ist am liebsten ganz nah bei ihren Menschen. Mit ihren Bezugspersonen ist sie wunschlos glücklich – andere Katzen braucht und möchte sie allerdings nicht. Daher suchen wir für Chili einen Einzelplatz, an dem sie die volle Aufmerksamkeit genießen kann. Vermutlich ist Chili fast taub, möglicherweise als Folge einer Mittelohrentzündung. Deshalb sollte sie ausschließlich in reiner Wohnungshaltung leben, wo sie sicher und geborgen ist. Ein gesicherter Balkon wäre natürlich ein schöner Bonus, ist aber kein Muss. Aktuell hat Chili noch deutliche Probleme mit ihrem Gangbild. In einem CT wurde festgestellt, dass sie an Spondylosen, also Verknöcherungen der Wirbelsäule, leidet. Gemeinsam mit unseren Tierärzten sind wir dabei, eine passende Schmerztherapie für sie zu finden, damit sie sich bald wieder wohler fühlen kann. Chili sucht ein ruhiges, verständnisvolles Zuhause bei Menschen mit großem Herzen, die ihr trotz ihres Alters und ihrer gesundheitlichen Baustellen noch viele schöne Jahre schenken möchten.
