Chili, Flash und Ruby

Mixed Breed · Male · Kitten · 4 months

Three little troublemakers are looking for their "forever home". The siblings Chili, Flash and Ruby are a lively, curious and incredibly energetic trio. Flash is the red-white tomcat, Chili the beautiful tortoiseshell cat and Ruby the little black one. They are lightning fast, causing a lot of mischief, love to climb, discover their surroundings with great enthusiasm and are tireless in doing so. But as much energy they have when playing, just as great is their love for cuddling. The three prefer to sleep with their foster mom and enjoy long cuddle sessions. As soon as it gets cozy, they purr and work hard with their paws "baking bread". Closeness and physical contact are simply important to the three. Chili, Flash and Ruby therefore combine action and adventure with a lot of love and cuddle time. Due to their age and social nature, they are only placed in pairs or with an existing, same-aged kitten. A single placement is not possible. For their future home, they also urgently wish for the possibility of outdoor access, so that they can also pursue their great need for movement and their love of adventure outside. Who is looking for a cheerful, playful, energetic and at the same time very affectionate cat duo or trio and wants to give them a loving home with outdoor access will surely have a lot of fun with Chili, Flash and Ruby.

About Chili, Flash und Ruby

What life with Chili, Flash und Ruby looks like

Chili, Flash und Ruby is a large kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Katzenhilfe Ulm e.V. in Ulm.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Dogs and cats typically leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with an EU pet passport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Chili, Flash und Ruby, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Chili, Flash und Ruby?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Katzenhilfe Ulm e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Chili, Flash und Ruby on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Chili, Flash und Ruby if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Katzenhilfe Ulm e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Chili, Flash und Ruby already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Chili, Flash und Ruby isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Katzenhilfe Ulm e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Chili, Flash und Ruby and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
