Chip 233260 (as of March 2026) Born around January 2025, shoulder height about 60 cm, female, neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed Location: animal shelter Prijatelji/Kroatien The transport will be organized by us. Chip 233260 (Junghund) is looking for a home “A New Face at the animal shelter.” Not long ago, Chip 233260 arrived at us. She still appears unsure and a little fearful, but there is a quiet hope in her eyes for a life full of love. She cautiously explores her new surroundings, seeking safety and someone she can trust. The loud animal shelter unsettles her, as she simply wishes for a warm, quiet home. With patience, love, and understanding, she will grow into a wonderful companion, at her own pace, with your support. Our association stands ready to offer advice at any time. Chip 233260 is waiting for her own dog bed and a person who will show her how beautiful life can be. Probably much is still new to her, but with patience, love, and some training, she will quickly gain confidence and flourish by your side. Dog training classes, shared progress, and gentle encounters with children, cats, and so on will help her become more secure and form new friendships. Would you like to give this special female dog a loving home? Contact: Our volunteer coordinators will respond quickly to you, answering questions and sending all important information and documents. More on the process: Note: The stated characteristics are based on observations at the animal shelter and may change in a new environment. If the dog is still referred to as “Chip xxx,” he still needs a name and a vet; a small additional fee may apply to the adoption fee. Adoptadog e.V., 63931 Kirchzell – a verified organization according to §11 TierSchG. This is a young, adolescent dog.

About Chip 233260 (Junghund)

What life with Chip 233260 (Junghund) looks like

Chip 233260 (Junghund) is a small young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Step by Paw e.V. in Germany.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Chip 233260 (Junghund), answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Chip 233260 (Junghund)?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Step by Paw e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Chip 233260 (Junghund) on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Chip 233260 (Junghund) if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Step by Paw e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Chip 233260 (Junghund) already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Chip 233260 (Junghund) isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Step by Paw e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Chip 233260 (Junghund) and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
