CHLOE

Female · Senior · 10 years

Chloe, who came from a shelter in Puglia, was born in 2016 (she's no longer young, but we assure you she carries her years with dignity) and is medium-large in size (33 kg). She is infinitely sweet, and it only takes a few minutes after meeting her to find her seeking cuddles and caresses. We know that unfortunately her age and size don't play in her favor, but she will reward you with infinite love and gratitude. She doesn't need mountain climbs, ocean swims, or long runs, but rather affection, a warm bed, some walks, good food, and a few treats (not too many, otherwise her line would suffer 😜). For us volunteers, adopting a pair of the two sisters would be a dream, as Eve and Chloe have always lived together and still share a box, but we don't expect too much. We would be happy to know they are happy and loved, even if they are far away. And we are sure they would also appreciate a home at last. To meet Chloe: Via Germagnano, 8 from Monday to Saturday from 1 pm to 4 pm (if you want, bring some treats, we're sure she would appreciate 😋)

IT·Show original

About CHLOE

What life with CHLOE looks like

CHLOE is a large senior dog waiting at ENPA Sezione Torino in Torino.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

🇮🇹Adopting from Italy

Italian canili require adopters to sign a stewardship contract (affido) and may retain the right to verify the animal's wellbeing post-adoption. Animals are chipped and sterilized before leaving (Legge 281/91). Public canili rifugio typically waive adoption fees.

Frequently asked

Adopting CHLOE, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about CHLOE?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. ENPA Sezione Torino handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw CHLOE on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt CHLOE if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — ENPA Sezione Torino will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is CHLOE already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if CHLOE isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with ENPA Sezione Torino early rather than rehoming privately; they know CHLOE and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (IT). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
