Chunk – In Foster – Scotland

English Bulldog · Male · Puppy · 4 months

Please give a warm welcome to Chunk to the Geordie Bullies family. Sadly, Chunk's family made the heartbreaking decision to surrender him into our care, selflessly putting his needs before their own emotions. They have loved and adored Chunk since he was a puppy, making this an incredibly difficult decision for them. When they welcomed Chunk into their lives, they had no previous experience with bulldogs and have found themselves struggling to meet his needs. As always, we kindly ask that there is no judgement. This has been an emotional and heartbreaking decision for his family, and we are incredibly grateful that they trusted us to support them through it. We hope it brings them some comfort knowing that Chunk will always be loved, cherished and receive the care he deserves. Over the weekend, Chunk was collected by his wonderful foster parents, Leanne and Daryl, and has now begun his foster journey in Scotland. As expected, after leaving behind everything he has ever known, Chunk needed a couple of days to begin settling in. With plenty of patience, love and gentle reassurance, he is now finding his paws and settling in beautifully. He has even earned himself a new nickname 'Chunk the Hunk'! Please join us in giving Chunk the warmest welcome to his Geordie Bullies family. We cannot wait to share all of his adventures with you. About Chunk – In Foster – Scotland

What life with Chunk – In Foster – Scotland looks like

Chunk – In Foster – Scotland is a puppy/kitten english bulldog dog waiting at Geordie Bullies Springboard Rescue in United Kingdom.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

Frequently asked

Adopting Chunk – In Foster – Scotland, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Chunk – In Foster – Scotland?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Geordie Bullies Springboard Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Chunk – In Foster – Scotland on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Chunk – In Foster – Scotland if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Geordie Bullies Springboard Rescue will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Chunk – In Foster – Scotland already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Chunk – In Foster – Scotland isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Geordie Bullies Springboard Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Chunk – In Foster – Scotland and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
