We have to praise Čikinka, how he handled the spring clipping supposely (according to his standards), it was already necessary to free him from his long fur after the winter. In the middle of the clipping we took a break and it looked like a lion cub escaped from the zoo Čiki also belongs to those dogs that are distrustful of people, so clipping is always psychologically difficult for him. We would also like to speak on his behalf, he has been in the shelter for several years, he needs a very calm person by his side who will understand his character. When he knows how to deal with Čikin, there will be no problem, we will gladly help you find a way to Čikin....Čikinek is a 13-year-old dog who handles walks without any problems, but he also doesn't mind spending most of his time calmly, for example sunbathing in the yard and watching the surroundings. Edit 23.6.2021 - So Čiki unfortunately returned to the shelter after a month. It looked very promising, he got used nicely, but apparently it is very important for Čiki to follow simple rules to avoid problems (for example, always taking him among people with a muzzle, setting him at home where he will have a place and not wavering,...) It's also good to know that he no longer handles long trips, a yard or a short walk is enough.....Will Čiki get a second chance with someone else? Čiki has been in the new home for a week and we are keeping our fingers crossed for him. He was taken by a couple who had been to the shelter for Čikin for several weeks, they took him for a short time to the future home and consulted us about every problem. They really took it responsibly and consistently. Even now we are in contact with them and hope that together with Čikin they will manage...

Čikinka musíme pochválit, jak suprově (na jeho poměry) zvládl jarní stříhání, už bylo potřeba ho po zimě vysvobodit z dlouhých chlupů. V poločase stříhání jsme dali pauzu a vypadalo to, že ze ZOO utekl lvíček Čiki patří také k těm psům, kteří trpí nedůvěrou k lidem, proto je pro něj stříhání vždy psychicky náročné. Také bychom se za něj chtěli přimluvit, je v útulku již několik let, potřebuje velmi klidného člověka po svém boku, který bude chápat jeho povahu. Když bude vědět, jak s Čikim vycházet, problém nenastane, rádi Vám pomůžeme najít k Čikimu cestu....Čikinek je 13letý psík, který zvládá bez potíží procházky, ale stejně tak mu nebude vadit trávit většinu času poklidným způsobem, například se slunit na zahrádce a pozorovat okolí. Edit 23.6.2021 – Tak Čiki se nám bohužel po měsíci vrátil zpátky na útulek. Vypadalo to velmi nadějně, krásně si zvykl, ale zřejmě je velmi důležité u Čikiho dodržovat jednoduchá pravidla, aby nenastal problém (např. brát ho mezi lidi vždy s náhubkem, určovat mu doma, kde bude mít místo a nepolevit,….) Je dobré také vědět, že už nezvládá dlouhé výlety, stačí mu zahrádka nebo krátká procházka…..Dostane Čiki u někoho druhou šanci? Čiki už je týden v novém domově a my mu držíme moc palce. Vzal si ho pár do bytu, který za Čikim chodili do útulku několik týdnů, brali ho na krátkou dobu do budoucího domova a radili se s námi ohledně každého problému. Brali to opravdu zodpovědně a důsledně. I teď jsme s nimi ve spojení a doufáme, že vše společně s Čikim zvládnou…..
